As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold and its impact to Canadians is changing the way we carry out our day-to-day activities and business operations, we at MacDev Financial are also taking the health and safety of our employees, clients, and service providers seriously.
In doing our part to mitigate risk and keep people as safe as possible, as well as aiding in the flattening of the pandemic curve, we are adhering to social distancing measures as recommended by several Canadian health authorities.
MacDev Financial has instituted restrictions based on travel and mandated self-isolation for any team member showing symptoms or for those that have reason to the believe they have been exposed to COVID-19.
I want to emphasize that we will continue to support you with information and services but have decided to postpone any face-to-face meetings for at least two weeks, though we are prepared to do so for as long as needed. Many of the people we interact with during our business day at MacDev are already accustomed to using electronic means, phone calls, and/or webinars to communicate.
We are continuing to closely monitor this ever-changing situation. In this time of extreme market volatility, we are particularly grateful that the majority of products that MacDev Financial deals with, help mitigate financial risk and have guaranteed provisions through the provider company.
We believe clear communications plays a critical role during challenging times and are committed to our continued dialogue with you as this situation evolves.
